For the past 6 months to a year, they haven't been selling PT figures there anymore. What gives? -Omar

I haven't seen PT at any of the local BLs for a couple years - and now I can only think of one remaining BL in the area at all.
They don't have set brands - they just sell what they can get for cheap, like closeouts of inexpensive runs like Power Team, so when that supply dries up, they move on to other things. |

For the last few years, the PTE seem to be a seasonal item for X-mas around here. At our Big Lots when they bulk out their toy dept. for X-mas shopping.

The one close to me typically gets a bunch around the holidays, but they tend to not restock at all throughout the year. The last PT set I saw was the combat
construction thing. That was months ago.

The Big Lots near me still has a few PowerTeam dregs left over from a late winter restock. The one still collecting dust is the large boxed set with the UAV.
I expect we'll see another restock shortly. The Christmas decorations are already competing with the Halloween decorations at my local BigLots.

I have 2 Big Lots within decent driving distance and one puts out their Christmas stuff, including lots of
new toys, particularly M&C items which are not only the solider action figures, but also the Kari Mitchelle clothes and dolls, at the end of September.
The other one doesn't put it out until about 6 weeks later! "Why", is anyone's guess. But if we all check in every few weeks at our local
Big Lots, and then post when we find the good stuff, it will alert everyone here that it's time to step up the visits to their local Big Lots, too.

This has been a sore point on Yahoos' PowerTeam group since March. The consensus is Big Lots, Dollar General, JC Penney won't see new stock until later
this next month at the earliest.

Checking ours tomorrow. The closest BL is usually a little slow on the holiday restock, but always gets *some* 1/6 PT.
Edit 8/30: Our BL has two rows of the standard single figures. Didn't see any larger sets (kayak, parachute, etc.). Price has gone up a bit, but $10 is still reasonable for what you get.

I went there this afternoon and picked up two figures. Did body/head swaps and mixed and matched armor and gear with things I currently had to make some extras
for my zombie shelf

think we only have time to hit one of them only.

I went to the one near work on Thursday. They had a few new 6" playsets out, but still no 1:6. Hopefully they'll start showing up in a week or two.

The BL near me doesn't get stuff that often. I do look when I go, but other than some Barbie stuff, or her clones, they don't really get any of the PT
or clone stuff. I'm not even sure when the last time they did get something here.
