top of the wings and around her wing claws , still undecided on that , as well as maybe doing something with the " eye holes " on her shoulder armor . Most of
the major work is complete and its all " accentuating " stuff now . I most likely will rig up some kinda hook that I can clip onto her wing harness and hang her for
flight poses . She's about ready for a name .
Picked up the body and head of ZC Girl Risa from GSTG the other day - did a bit of playing and decided she could work nicely wearing an An42 Tactical TuTu and with the addition of some bat wings she might make a suitable counterpart to my other An42 OOAK Abby Cadaver the Ornery Witch . Never done wings before , so I figured I'd try building an armature from pipe cleaners and then cover them with some suitable fabric . I may also give her some twisty horns .
I used three pipe cleaners per wing , one for the two elongated fingers that are eye and hook jointed to the forearm/thumbhook which is the second
pipecleaner and the third , also hook and eye jointed to attach to the forearm to make the upper arm of the wing which has a loop to pass over the figure's
shoulder - should give me a lot of articulation for the wings allowing me to spread them out for flight and fold them up at rest without overstressing the wire
of the pipecleaners . If this works out , I'll post a full tutorial at my website Geeb-O-Rama .
The step by step is now up at Geeb-O-Rama !
