If those Playmates sculpts are like their ST:TOS sculpts you will have the devil's own time adapting them to any other body. I have failed to
figure out how to adapt the TOS Uhuru to ANY other femme body. I got the male sculpts onto HT bodies using "Dragon" adaoptors, but
not easily. And the "big shoulders" of the current HT bodies are not "Playmates-friendly." I hope to get some of the new slim or narrow
shoulder bodies soon and try those.

original series Playmates Uhura is articulated better. SHE has elbow joints.

The 1st wave figures for new movie ran about $30 each.
I wasn't tempted enough to bite at that price. I did pick up some $20 Terminator figures recently, though. |

Plus they gotta stop making Kirk look like a 16 year old.
The figure looks more like David Bailey, this guy http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Dave_Bailey , rather than Kirk. Also reminds me of Wally from Leave it to Beaver. Who wants to bet that Playmates are, one again, going to kill the line with too many gimmicks and stuff? Playmates killed the original line with numbered packages, characters we only saw for 5 seconds, or characteres dressed in a way we only saw for 5 minutes, etc.
