I really love the lighting in the pottery shop and street scenes that follow it. A real feast for the eyes!

yeah, sorry guys, but there is still a lot of work to do. I need about 10 additional locations, several props and some vehicles.
50 Romans are waiting to be dressed. For the story I just have a little treatment. And it will be an epic story. But I will show the progress here and some more teasers as well, if you like. |

Please do. Your diorama construction progress pictures have been fascinating. I greatly appreciate your willingness to share your efforts with the rest of us.
Story sequences are always welcome - even if they do not end up in your final story. |

I noticed the girl from Timeline and a Celt. I read somewhere that Roman soldiers weren't allowed to carry pilum and shield in the city limits and that if
you see a blonde, she's probably wearing a wig and she's a hooker. Aren't books great? So is your city. Note: Better Nero than Caligulia.
May the barbarians be kept far from your walls, Dave PS: Unfortunately for this diorama, I'm an Arminius fan.

I love the polished marble columns.
As usual, the detail everywhere is amazing. |

Running out of ways to say "incredible". My story-telling location needs would be solved forever with just a tenth of Subara.Looking forward to your
own Subara stories before long.

Behind the scenes
Sometimes some guys on the boards asked for an overview picture. Well to be true, I'm not really a fan of those images, because they tend to distroy the illusion. But they are able to give an orientation and they give an idea of the size of the project as well. So, here are some of those:

I can see him now, "Honey, I shrunk the kids" overhead pulley counter-weight system. Yup, in my mind's eye, I can see it.
So, Dunedin, have you read Stephen Dando-Collins' book on the 14th Legion? Titled: Nero's Killing Machine. Dave |
