Using the Legends of Ireland " Aine " Barbie as a base , specifically the head and the gown ; she has been transplanted over to an Obitsu body .
Kept her earrings , but removed the original bobs and replaced them with green teardrop shaped glass beads , her original belt became her necklace
and I created a new belt for her from jewelry and bracelet bits and pieces . I used a swarovski crystal to top off her enchanter's staff , glued onto a
brass finial , a miniature brass finial and brass spring was used to make the butt cap of her staff . Scratchbuilt her athame , aluminum as the blade with
a bead spacer and earring post cap for the pommel , the crossguard was taken from a swivel mounted keychain and dremeled and bent to shape . The
scabbard is wood , with brass clasps and sheet brass to detail . Her scroll case is rolled and embossed leather , with wood butt caps and artificial sinew
used to sew it together and serve as the cap's attachment . A gold metal filligree cap was cemented to the top of the cap to detail . It does open and
magic
parchments may be stored inside it . Her magic book's cover is a printed book cover , decoupaged over some cardstock , the interior pages are cut to size
printer paper . I used a pin vise to drill thru the cover and pages and then slipped brass O-rings thru the holes .
Below is a close up of her athame before I covered the handle with leather , her spellbook and scrying stone on its pedestal , and a few of her
magical scrolls . Sadly , she's headed for eBay , and will be missed .
