I used a Hair dryer and a Exacto knife to remove the ankle extentions.

I just split the leg down the front and back from the knee after heating up the leg first with the hair dryer.

Then I used the tip of my Exacto knife to open the end of the leg up a bit and the ankle extentions came right out the clear piece came out with it.

Then i just closed the leg back up it pretty much closed up on it's own there are no visable cut seams and then I just stuck the foot in the end of the leg there is no real ankle rotation but that don't matter much once I put it in a boot.
