I decided to take some pictures this morning. (click the pic for the larger version) I kept her same arm position from the way she was packed in the box. One of the little plastic bands is still around her hands, but it's hardly noticeable. I just turned her facing forwards. I guess the stand is pre-set up along her back and inside the dress. It holds her up very well. The dress is so beautiful! It's big and dreamy. I have to straighten out the veil a little bit. I don't know how I'm going to do that. I tried pushing it to the side, but it doesn't seem to want to move. Maybe it's tied too tight. I'm so happy to have such a beautiful bridal doll. She's a sweetie

I don't have any bride figures - I think my " wedding panic " psychosis prevents me from ever wanting such a thing ( unless I wanted to do a Zombie Bride like ModernWizard ) , as a matter of fact , the whole " bride and groom " figure genre I find ridiculous ( I am a GI Joe lovin' neanderthal !! ) Personally I'd rather have a doll in bearskin getting dragged by her hair by a club wielding refugee from a Geico commercial , not to bash Momoko too much . I like Momoko's , they are Barbies but less intolerable . Doubt I'll ever own one due to their cost and lack of combat boots or weaponry . I am shallow and a reprobate . Nice costuming and a great headsculpt as per usual from the Momoko line . " Never Piss Off a Man in Stilettos !! "

I love Momokos. The faces and high quality of the clothing are amazing. I have several of them. The limited articulation and non-switchable hands are a drawback. I have been tempted to put a Momoko head on an Obitsu body, but haven't done so yet. Perhaps if one ever breaks (shudder) I'd do it, but for now I just leave them the way the factory created them

They are just too pricey for me , since I would have to swap out the bodies for ones with greater degrees of articulation and the ability to have their hands grasp props . I just have a " thing " about nuptial themed dolls . I like my " controlling , dominating , head game playing , appendage supplicants " to be more " blatant and psychotic " in their dress and appearance . " Never Piss Off a Man in Stilettos !! "

It's so sad cbgorby, yes they are expensive. I guess you've got to love them for what they are or be willing to get more bodies or inherit a zillion bodies you like more and make them the way you want them for free.

I like this one alot. You can take off the outer skirt and she has on a mini dress underneath. cbgorby- Is this bride more to your liking?

Your pictures of her just confirm my passion for her. I've heard that Momoko's joints can be a bit fragile. Posts: 184 (06/20/09 18:36:42) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	I have seen a couple other peoples' photos of broken Momoko joints, but I haven't had any problems with them myself. It looks like the wrist and ankle joints are the most fragile, but if you're careful you should be okay. Also keep in mind that if you should ever want to remove a Momoko's head, make sure you heat it up first. Otherwise you could damage the head. It looks like Junky Spot has Sea Maze. If you're looking for a good Momoko to start out with, I'd go with her. She was my second Momoko doll, and I think she's wonderful. Otherwise jump right in with Dramatic Bride. Even if you don't like the Momoko body and joints, you can just keep her in the dress and have her stand around looking pretty.
