I use a product called "ShockRock Gum" which my wife bought at her hair salon. It's sticky and holds doll hair like glue, but washes out in warm
water.

I use hairspray too. Instant freeze by Aussie works just as good as gel and, if you do it right, won't look like it has that much prouduct in it. Garnier
gel and wax also. But I use this stuff on my own hair too lol.

So nobody uses products made for dolls or synthetic wigs? I'm afraid of the oils/waxes/alcohol that go in people hair products. But I don't want to pay
$10 plus shipping for a teeny bottle of Dollfie "wig mist".
Anyone had any trouble with the vinyl heads reacting to the people hair stuff? I have a growing crowd of figures who's hair reallly needs attention, lol.

I use hair gel that doesn't have alcohol in it.

i use non acid tacky glue mixed with water in a small amount like less then a dropp it does wash out with soap and water as well
wouldnt recomend it though or any hair product on white hair dolls i suggest getting the wig stuff then you can normally find it in most towns that carry hair wefts or weaves or wigs in large amounts they are really friendly even if you dont look like you need it yourself dolly doctor 1/6 artist and seamstress. http://datumzine.livejournal.com/ http://www.myspace.com/gotdollfie |

I find it ironic that I have spent so much time and effort getting hair gel out of doll hair! Some companies really over use the stuff. It's good
to know what to use when I do get up the courage to try my hand at styling some poor figure's hair.
